It was a perfect 10 beach day!

I just got back to the apartment and showered the sand off of my body. Today was a perfect beach day. It was sunny and warm but there was a nice light breeze to keep everyone comfortable. The ocean was even warmer than I was expecting for late June. The kids had a blast swimming for most of the time we were there.
We arrived at about 9:30 and left at 1 pm. That was enough time for us to all chat, relax, eat lunch, and work on our tans but not too long so that we burned. My niece and nephew were exhausted and both of them fell asleep before we even got out of the park.
Today was wonderful!

Your day at the beach sounded exactly like my day at the beach last Sunday! Which means you had a good time, because I know I sure had a good time! But I was wiped out when I got home and showered. As long as you didn't get sunburned, you'll probably sleep like a baby tonight!

I just got back from the lake myself and it was a great lake day too, not too warm, not too cool, just right. The water was excellent too. I was floating on a raft for a couple of hours..I swam earlier in the week.

yes it was a perfect day.We opt to go to the lake instead of the beach.
We knew the beach was going to be crowded.This I did not wan.
We arrived a bit early than you.But it was nice and the water not bad all.Of course it was only my feet
