Half hour out, half hour in

The sun is shining brightly. The moisture is finally pretty well dried up from the grass. I am pacing myself. I stayed outside for a half hour and worked hard. Now I am inside and will stay at least a half hour, drinking cool drinks and being online or doing inside chores. I cannot handle more heat and sun than that at a time. Hope you are having a good afternoon.

One more potato chip, one more piece of chocolate, mow one more row, oops, I just have to get over there, etc. If I could get out and do this daily I would do better.

The heat totally wipes me out. Also, did I ask you for your address, or did I just dream I asked you?

I do not recall you asking. Of course I could forget easily. Maybe you tapped into me asking another person here for their address.

@GardenGerty I kept trying to direct message you, but the message wouldn't go through. So I kept thinking I asked you in a discussion, but I was never sure.

That is a good way to start. Especially if it is hot and humid.

It sounds like a smart move on your part. Here it is supposed to be 95 degrees outside. I will be inside.

I do not think we have gotten that high here yet this year. It is unusually cool but OH the humidity.

@GardenGerty It's the humidity that gets you.

When I have been inside for days and days I will do an hour and rest 15 minutes inside, and do another hour etc. But when I get used to it I can do 8 hours outside.

It all depends on what I am doing. If, for instance, I was planting things and trimming out baby trees with the clippers, and pulling weeds I could do longer than mowing. I sweat something awful using the mower and I am a little bit older than you.

@andriaperry Put insect repellant on it. It majorly keeps the bugs away when I do that.

@GardenGerty I understand. I have to tie a bandana on my head to mow, I sweat so bad.

It was a dry, beautiful, cool day. I hope the weather man is wrong. He says hotter tomorrow with thunderstorms.

Yes, I do cool down carefully. Also replenish with a splash of juice or mint leaves in my water.

It is cooler today, that is why I was glad to get started. Hubby did a section this evening as well. We are maybe half done.
