The day almost ended badly yesterday.

After we came back from the mall, Tania started to make the banana splits while I rested my old feet. Meanwhile, she started to talk about her ancestors and she started to make a family tree while I gave her names. We then remembered curious things that happened when my husband died, others that happened when Tomás died. Mostly, it had to do with lights in the house that for no reason went on and off. And while we were talking about this, the lights of my house dimmed and then they went on and off. We checked the switches and all were fine. And then a couple of lights stayed on and the rest went off. It was as if someone was playing with the lights. I called my brother to ask for the energy company number. Then I called. The girl that received my call was completely dumb. I had to spell my last name and my address 3 times. They we had to wait. I say 'we' because Tania decided to stay with me. 3 hours later I received a call from emergency. A very nice young man found out immediately what was the problem and fixed it. Do you think that it was just a cable or were there playful spirits saying hello? I found out that it is very useful to have candles at home.
