Yes, it is 7:10pm here in our end.
It starts to rain 10 minutes ago. This rain will surely help to fill up our dams who are in low level the past days. The water companies were advising clients the past week that they maybe rotational water service interruption due to low level of dams.
I hope the early morning rain and tonight's rain will help.
Happy morning/evening to all!

Wow! You're reminding me of those nights when I always worried the rain will continue to pour until I go to work. I worked from 10pm Manila time. But all my housemates always envied me. The rain always stopped whenever I'm ready for work. It's true! It happened the whole rainy season. I no longer have that magic or shall I say luck?

@rakski well the rain did fall. We have a short power interruption, but I appreciate the break from the hot weather.

@rakski 2- hour rain especially heavy downpour is more than enough to flood the low lands.

Everyone in the Philippines gets so happy whenever it rains these past days. Yes, those dams are below the level that it should be so the rains are so welcome .
That is the same with the farmers whose crops are drying up.
Me, I love it when it rains at night. It cools the surrounding and makes sleep so nice.

i've fingers crossed the 'nough rain'll fall to help aide those dams. sadly folks don't seem to be conscientious 'bout their water usage when times 're good. jest fret when thingies dry out'n their put'n restrictions. the same happens here'n the u.s.

Although I hate the rain it is essential to keep the reservoirs full and to help our vegetables grow. Last week we had far too much rain the potato fields were flooded! It would have been ok had it been a rice field! ( We do not grow rice here it is too cold)

it is so sad to note that even with continuous rains, ur dams won't increase their water levels. we here have some bouts of low pressure, but no interruption like in the capital city.

@rakski happy July to you. the news this morning stated that we need to have a lot more of typhoons in order for the Angat Dam to reach a level to cater to the needs of the people living near the area. for us here in far north, we may have water interruptions but there is no water shortage. low pressure only.

It's our rainy season and we will soon be flooding and then in September we will have a drought--it is a way of life! :O)
