It is only talk but no walk The economic situation is disturbing and so also unrest among communities but nothing is done about it. Nor can opposition put their foot down as they are a small number. I can just ignore and move on but ii keeps haunting me

I think it is the same around the world. The politicians appear to have lost their way! They only appear to be self serving rather than representing the people who put them in office,

People have blindly voted without verifying facts. This guy is a talker and can mesmerise people It is kind of a cult in this country I am an ordinary citizen but know what is told to the Nation are all lies. It is frightening and distressing. They hid the facts at the time of election and then made them public after they won the elections.

@allknowing I am afraid that is typical. The same happens here that is why our parliament is in such an embarrassing mess. They lie through their teeth and are only out for their own gains!

@garymarsh6 I blame the people. They do not verify facts. When only opposition is sent to the gallows people must ask questions as to why not those in the government as well but they will not

Only a few (very few) nations still have good politicians who care about the country and the people, all the others have lost their mind. They only mind power and money.

I know about it but it is affecting me. I get depressed reading news. Our PM has a guilt and that is not affecting him He got a clean chit by foul means and he keeps saying that. And we are ruled by a man who is a criminal. Sadly the illiterate voters who belong to the majority voted for him. He offered them cheap sops and they were bought that way He ran away from an interview when he was questioned on this I can post a video if you are interested.
An excerpt from Harsh Mander’s book, ‘Between Memory and Forgetting’ that revisits the communal violence in Gujarat in 2002.

@LadyDuck For me it is the people who voted for him that I cannot accept He took advantage of their illiteracy and ignorance. The sad part is we do not have a strong opposition either

@allknowing I do not read political news about Italy because I get sick. We left Italy because we could not stand their politicians and the corrupted Italian system. I know how you feel. It was not easy to move away for the country where we were born, but the only thing to do to get rid of the system.

If people asked questions this would not have been the state of affairs Just a simple among countless questons would be why only opposition is questioned for corruption?

There are so many issues... That it's difficult to list down. Organisation is pathetic and everything is scarry.... Can't really imagine what will happen to our country in next few years as we are heading towards low...

Nothing can be done as they have pocketed all Institutions. They seem to have blackmailed those who head these Institutions. Perhaps they know something about these guys and threatened to expose them as they are doing with opposition while those on their side are protected. This is their modus operandi

I don't like the politicians. They all are same. I don't like the topic of politics. They only think of themselves not about the public which are their duty.
