Have you provided for when you retire?

The date I can retire is looming and I think I should have thought about looking after me more when I was young. Somehow there was never money to save to a retirement. Now I am wishing I had done so. I am sure I will get by and I can write whatever age I am, but I wish I had taken out some policies or paid into a good pension. How about you? Are you saving for retirement or procastinating?

No, haven't saved a cent, using all on my money on horses and travelling.
However, as long as I don't buy a a more expensieve flat I should have paid all of that plus the student loan in about 10-12 years and I'm not going to retire for at least 25 so I do have some time to plan.

Bank deposits that generate interest is a sound way to retire.

I was in the same pickle when I retired. I didn't have employment that allowed savings. It was all hand to mouth. Nothing left over at the end of the month. I'm getting by, but it's not easy.
It's good you can write and make an income that way.

@just4him I know He provides and I also know when offered the chance to be the next Joyce Meyer, (Yes, really!) I turned it down as the offer was not from a Christian source. I have great expectations but kinda hope some of them might happen here if the Lord tarries!
