Enjoyed My Date with My Editor

I met my editor for lunch yesterday and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant she chose was one I hadn't tried. The food and service were excellent. Dining there also gave me a reason to go downtown - not something I often do - and see the improvements they've made along Center Street. It is a much nicer place to visit than just a few years ago.
My editor was very excited to hear about the projects I have underway and is anxiously waiting to get her hands on my next manuscript. I also outlined my latest project idea for her and she fully endorsed it.
Now, I have two tasks ahead of me writing-wise. The first is to finish my revisions to Stone's Heart and get it to my editor. The second is to keep working on my as yet untitled new idea. Somewhere in between, I need to start planning for the next school year.
Do you have a full plate of tasks before you this morning, week, month? How far along are you at getting it/them done?

I am SO glad your date with the editor went well, that's great. =) I have some things to do-Saturday evening I have a couple photo sessions to do. I am also working on building up some donations of costumes/gowns for a photo session in August benefiting the homeless.

How wonderful that your editor is excited about your projects. I do have a full plate ahead of me this month. I am so close to finishing the end of my reluctant reader adventure that I can almost see The End. That plus I have a medical issue that I need to have taken care of.

@DWDavis I saw a need for books for the lower level reading, for those who do not like to read or have problems reading. Teens and young teens need books geared to their age interest but at a lower level so I am trying to fill the void.

That is wonderful news!!!! You are really on your way to having a full time writing career if you so choose.
I've just been partying like it was 1999 every day and evening almost the entire month of June - my birthday month. It's been exceptional, and I feel so loved by my family and all my friends.

That sounds like fun! I suspect I will be pretty busy this coming month.
