Sometimes I wonder why our discussions get deleted, while same kind of discussions still stays in mylot.....
Sometimes it annoys me because even before I see the comments, discussion has been disappeared.
Sometimes I feel that the reason for getting deleted not always we break mylot rules, but that’s because some narrow minded people report our discussions.

I've often wondered the same thing myself. But there are only so many Admins on this site, and they can only do so much. I think they do try as best as they can to keep up with everything. But they are human too, so there are some things that get by them and some things that don't.

Discussions are NEVER deleted just because someone reported them. Many discussions which were reported have remained. That is because Admin always looks at the discussion and decides whether or not it is against the Guidelines or Terms of use. Please read both carefully if you are in doubt about why a discussion was deleted!
Also, many discussions are deleted without having been reported. Admin cannot possibly read all of the discussions posted, which is one reason why some are deleted and other apparently similar ones may not be. Another reason many be that, though the topic seems similar, the way it was written and the information it contained may not be.
Whether myLot decides to remove content or not is entirely up to myLot (and the Admins). If you have any doubts about why content was removed or any questions about the rules, having read the Terms of Use and the Guidelines, you should contact Admin, as advised here:
I just want to take a moment to remind everyone that if you have a discussion removed and you would like to know why, please send me a private message rather...

Good morning. Not sure who is reporting t his.But you may be right. Now that I think of it being gay.We have a lot of narrow minded people.
I know here many do not care for me as being gay. That is their problem. They can report me all they want.
What do they get out of this?

@amandajay No , I would say you should not feel anything bad as most likely you must not be able to fetch the webpage for an old discussions and that does not necessarily dictate that such discussions are deleted .This applies only if you get some 404 or webpage errors unlike some other messages that indicate posts were deleted/reported.
Most possibly the web/database servers used here are not that good in retaining the old content or else the web request would take long to fetch an old content of that database which may end with a timeout . This is what my suspicion can derive a cause about....

You think about this more technically. I guess you are an IT professional or something related.
But this not all about databases and capacity of the page. This is something else...
haha forget it. It’s over now.
