Other times we've done it together but this time I let Vince choose what he wanted then we talked over a few extra that I wanted. It takes ages and I was happy for him to choose and me to veto.

We did one day but sometimes in the hotel, the noise was a bit muffled.

That's a great idea too. We should do that with ours.

I have dozens of files of photos. They are mostly in a sort of order.

We have travelled a lot since we retired.

@JustBhem We've been to Thailand, France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales - that's about it I think.

@JudyEv How many countries did you already visits?

That's true. We have had a few books made over the years.

@arunima25 Maybe it will have to wait till you have more free time. It's not something that can be done in five minutes.

@JudyEv That's good! I have been planning to do so for quite some time. But whenever I see those plenty of digital pictures, I loose my motivation. I need really good time to devote to sort them out and take prints of good ones. With so many things coming up every day, I do not see that happening anywhere in near future.

@JudyEv i'd been lookin' fer a printer, but the aunt'n momma thought they'd done me a favor purchasin' this'un. (hp envy photo 7155) i tried to pay 'em fer 't, they'd not 'ccept. said i've done their taxes fer years'n ne'er taken funds fer such so 'twas their way 'f sayin' thanks. sadly, the print quality 'tis horrid. the color cartridge 's 3 colors'n if'n one runs out, ya get 'nly black'n white. did i mention that jest 4 color photos'n 'tis out??? yup, piece 'f junk....e'en printin' jest'n black'n white 'tis awful, with grey lines 'n distortion. reckon i'm gonna need to sit down one day'n see which pics'd make the best books'n get such done. that choosin' 'tis diff'cult, lol.

@crazyhorseladycx Some printers really are the pits and the cartridges last no time at all so I know how frustrating it is.

Our printer leaves a bit to be desired too. Some we get a couple printed in town rather than do them here.

@JudyEv Isn't it funny how our brains have morphed in such a way that we're always thinking about myLot? I am the same way, Wherever I go, I'm always thinking about the possibilities of a story on myLot!

@moffittjc Yes, it does become quite addictive. I guess that's okay while we have other 'lives' as well.

I don't know if you can go up them or not. We only saw them from the road really. Vince takes a lot of photos and I seem to take more and more now. I'm always thinking 'I could write about that on myLot'.

It's off-putting, isn't it, when you have dozens and dozens. I'd make specialised ones of some of my interests if they were a bit cheaper.

It was so different then, wasn't it? You couldn't just keep on taking photos like you do now. You couldn't 'waste' photos as developing cost quite a lot.

My husband loves photography and I mostly take photos that I can use here on myLot.

It's really something, isn't it? Very unique.

We should be able to pick it up sometime next week.

That's a good idea too. Our friend in Austria makes a book every year - just photos, very few words but it is a record of the year's activities.

It looks very lovely lit up with a golden light.
