Lizards, Birds and Squirrels

It is hot today. I cleaned house while my better half went for a haircut, then made lunch. We've just returned from my walk. It was hot even in the shady woods. I saw lots of small wild life and made pictures of lizards, birds. squirrels and chipmunks but I cannot get one to submit.
So you'll have to take my word for it. One lizard had a blue tail and blue strips, the other had yellow stripes. Hardly anyone was out, other than a few people walking their dogs. As we were leaving, a bus pulled in with wheel chair patients from a nursing home. Someone found a nice shade and they were wheeled out one by one. I'm glad they could get outside even for a little while.

@RubyHawk Yes since that day I have been able to download pictures but that day, only the phone worked. Which is okay since I take the pictures with my phone.

@BelleStarr I usually use a digital camera. I can take pictures here with my ipad but it doesn't work without Wifi. Lately my pictures have been going on from my desktop but they have their moments.

We have lizards of all kinds, shapes, sizes along with birds of which some are beautifully (and loud) wild parrots along with snakes, crocodiles, alligators, manatees swimming along the docks, etc. Mother Nature does some great work--even if it is raining and humid today!! LOL

Wow, you do have a show down there. The only animals I see a lot are squirrels. Lizards and snakes are out and about but they stay hidden for the most part. I am so happy not to have alligators or crocodiles. We did have an alligator in the Chattahoochee a few years ago., I think the game warden snared him.It took awhile for them to find him.

The heat doesn't seem to bother lizards and birds.

101 here today, thankfully not the humidity added such's where ya reside. so glad ya got some pics, hon. could be those pic's'd be too large fer here? i believe they need resized to 2mb 'r less? i dunno, 've heard diff'rent tales.
i miss lizards, though i'm certain they'd still be here. buried 'mong all the vines, tryin' to survive the feral cat population.
delightful they found those folks some shade. hopefully all went well with 'em 'n they made 't back safely to some a/c.

ya might holler 't the powers that be here 'n report such, hon. i did a discussion 'bout those troubles not long 'go 'n dunno what happened, but since i've'd no troubles (knockin' wood, prolly jest jinxed myself, lol).

It makes a big difference when one can escape their usual surrounding and experience something different. It was great for them to enjoy a bit of nature.

Wow, the lizards there are colorful! Yes, it is good the nursing home take their patients out in the park to avoid boredom and being under the trees in beneficial for one's health, as they say.
