So now that I’ve presented Reverend Janet, as she is no longer acting Pastor I can share the poem I wrote for her, upon her retirement! She is staying in the area for which I am grateful but she will be missed!
To say the crowd made me nervous would be a gross understatement!
To Pastor Janet!
Like ripples
In the water
Start a wave
A single soul
Can make
An impact
Can bring
Others to Christ.
Like footprints
In the sand
You leave a mark
In every
God inspired
Message
You preach!
Like a hand
Reaching out
He uses you
As a beacon
His bright and
Shinning light.
Like a song
Sung in Praise
To the creator
Of all our days
You live your days.

Very nice poem for Pastor Janet. She's everything to help a sinning soul find its way to Heavenly Farther's house.
