Health Record - Day 5

Day five already on this new way of keeping track of my diet and what I eat and how much. Yesterday being Sunday, I didn't do much in the way of exercise, not in the sense of purposely walking, jumping, swimming, and all that kind of exercise. I did get a lot of hugs at church though. I did walk to and from my car to the church and to the apartment. So, it wasn't like I didn't do ANYTHING. Just not anything measurable.
Yesterday's totals are a little high, but that's more because I didn't eat much on Saturday. Not because I did anything stupid like getting fast food or eating anything sweet. Not that I didn't have the opportunity. Someone brought something delicious looking to church. I'm going to assume the empty tray means they were good.
So, here are yesterday's totals.
Calories: 1514
Sugar: 31.72
Carbs: 110.48
Protein: 43.2
Sodium: 782.1
Fat: 40.55
I'm expecting today's calories will be higher as well only because I made a pot roast yesterday and I'm dividing the totals in half between yesterday and today. Hopefully, it won't be too high.
How is your first day of July going? Are you eating anything special this month? What about all the Canadians here celebrating Canada Day? Eating any special foods today?

Jay made a huge pot of chili last night. During this warm weather, I prefer not to eat soup! lol

Day's like that can make the scale look good. I'm doing everything I can not to eat too much. I'm hungry today. I've already had my breakfast, half as much as usual and haven't had my banana yet today. When I got home from helping my friend, I polished off the pot roast from yesterday. There wasn't a lot left. I also made creamy cucumber salad this morning when I made breakfast. I've started in on it. It took the edge off, but I don't know for how long. In the meantime, I'm on my third bottle of water today.

Not having anything special here, but not eating as I should either. Sounds like you did pretty well with balancing out from the day before when you weren't too hungry.

From your totals you seem to be doing very well. I need to really pay attention to my sodium as I'm always way higher than I should be.
