Access Denied To Withdraw Money

Today,I went to the town to get some money because I have to buy some food and groceries but when I am in front of the ATM machine, and start my transaction it says access denied to withdraw money. So I try to do it in other machine but still it is the same. So,my day is a waste because I did not get any money and then I only bought few things because I have a small amount that is left in my wallet and then go back home.
It made me so tired to go there and then I got nothing. It says that my bank is sorting out something to their system so that is the reason why they hold withdrawals and other transactions for today. This is the problem of the bank sometimes right but I understand their rules. So I will wait if tomorrow or the next day I can make transactions normally and I hope.Have anyone of you experience this?It is cloudy here today in my place and I think we will get rain later.

This has happened to me before from a big local bank. They actually compensated $25 for the trouble if you contacted them and tell them the inconvenience you experienced.

@janethwayne Bummer. I am sorry to hear you experienced that though and hopefully the bank will work. I was able to get that compensation because I've been a long time member of the bank and it was an inconvenience because I don't carry cash and needed cash at the moment.

Oh.. Sorry for that! Seems like that was so unfortunate for you. I haven't experienced that. But I always used to cash along. I don't believe the card system. I reserve some cash in my wallet that will save me during the tuff situation.
I feel bad for you. Nothing was in your hand, really! Take it easy..

@janethwayne That's true.. My dad used to advise this for me. He says keep some good amount of money in house and in your bag. I always follow that..

I don't use ATM machines, but I'm sorry you had to go through all that. Too bad the bank couldn't let their customers know in advance that the machines would be down to save all the hassles and troubles you went through and all for nothing.

the bank should not have been down for that long. I would get another bank I think and have them transfer my money to their bank. Doesn't sound right that the bank would not warn you ahead in case of emergency need.

You can always write a cheque and then take up the issue with the bank

Computer systems are not always as great as we make them out to be. I phoned my cell phone provider today (again!) because I got a text saying we were at 95% data, which is IMPOSSIBLE. When they tried to extend my data they kept getting error messages. It probably has to do with the mess that happened with my husband's phone, but still, it can be frustrating and a great inconvenience,

Yes it is not guaranteed that all you can do with that is successful.
