The picture depicts the options if cutting a slice of toast. I prefer 1 where I make it 2 triangular slices. It makes it easier to hold and eat. I sometimes make it 4 squares if I want to eat it quickly. How do you cut your toast or bread slices? Image from twitter.

It depends what's on it as to how I cut it. Sometimes I cut 8 squares so I can pop each piece in and leave my hands free for myLotting.

@pitstop Yes, but it is also meant to be a sort of decoration. I cut in small squares if I have to serve as appetizers, I do not cut at all if I make a sandwich.

I prefer cutting it in two triangles. Easier to handle.

@pitstop I actually think diagonal is the way most people slice their toast. For whatever reason.

I have cut my bread using methods # 1 and 2 but I have never used or seen anybody else use method #3.

Often I am lazy and leave the toast whole . When my kids were little, I would cut it like your "1" - triangle - because it was easier for them to hold and eat.

@pitstop Sometimes, half of a bun, sometimes black bread which looks brown and found at one time caraway seed bread which was really good used for toasting. Right now I am not eating much bread at all. Having sandwiches today for lunch and tomorrow for my first meal with some bread but not much.
