My Morning and Health Report - Day 7

I've had a busy morning. Up at 3:11 according to my clock radio, and in the pool by 5 AM. I got a 50-minute workout in the pool followed by the fitness center where I did 50 leg curls and 50 leg presses.
Then it was home for a short time to check my bank balance to verify I got my SS check. Made out my grocery list for Mother Hubbard's cupboard. Literally out of food except for eggs and potatoes, and 4 packets of tuna. Last month's mess up with my finances made for no groceries on week 4. I'm glad I still had food left. I have the refund, so all is good now and I should see no more trouble with my finances going forward. Unless I do what I did this morning. I paid all the bills then calculated what I had left for groceries, figuring in the bills that come out automatically and for my hair appointment this morning, and gas for the car.
My grocery allotment per week - $79.89, what I spent this morning - $107.11. I looked over the receipt and found seven items I will not be getting the rest of the month, and subtracted that from the total, and I will be fine the rest of the month.
I just got home from my hair appointment where Paula did an excellent job on my hair as usual.
Now for my health report.
Calories - 1248.84
Sugar - 15.52
Carbs - 90.68
Protein - 78
Sodium - 364
Fat - 73.6
Water - 3+
Calories burned - 665
Total Calories - 583.84
Yesterday is looking good, especially with the calories burned. I've been doing a more aggressive workout in the pool. I tend to be a little bit competitive. I found this morning I was only a lap and a half behind the gentleman who can really cut the water. I was about a half a lap ahead of another swimmer. So, I'm doing well. At least I think so since I know the gentleman could swim two laps to my one before.
How is your Wednesday going or are you on Thursday already? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

That's great. Thank you. It felt good to be able to push myself as I did. Next week the leg press will go to 60. I could have done it today, but with the pool being closed tomorrow, I'll wait until next week when I have five days in a row in the fitness center.

I've had a great Wednesday, so far. Jay went for a bike ride and said he should be back in a couple hours. I knew better, because he was stopping by a friend's house! lol

@just4him He's in preparation for the Marathon, on the last weekend of July. It's important for Jay to get sponsors, or he won't be allowed to ride in this race. Last year, he raised $3,200 in donations for cancer patients.

We are at the hotel. Hubby will not go swim with me and is in fact asleep. He is getting stronger all the time, but still needs more sleep than I do. He always has. I have no patience for counting calories and sadly not a competitive bone in my body. I may go to the fitness center her, just to be good to my body. According to the scales at my daughter's house I have lost seven pounds since my doctor appointment in May, so that is good.

That is excellent. I don't know why I feel competitive, maybe it pushes me to do better and that's a good thing.

It sounds like you are doing well with your swimming, and calories. I swam Sunday, and should have gone again, by now..but maybe not until the weekend again.

@just4him it's hot and I don't want to mess with it. I have other things to do and don't like changing clothes all the time.

My Wednesday is going great, I got a casserole pulled from the freezer to put on the oven shortly and fixing to roll the garbage can down the alley way to its pick up spot for tomorrow. No plans for the 4th as I will no be getting into any crowds and the beaches are already full
