I've had some technical difficulties on mylot today, so with that and me being busy doing other things, I haven't been on here as much as I would have otherwise. That's okay, I did get some things done that needed to get done.
I made hot dogs and baked beans for dinner. I spiced those up, then opened a container of barbecue slaw, the mustard, and a bag of chips and that was dinner.
What did everyone else have?
Do you spice up your beans?

Have not had supper yet. It will be left overs though. Half a Mexican Chicken Burrito I bought yesterday.
Yes, I like to make pinto beans from dried beans, I will throw sliced jalapenos in with the first boil and soak. I leave them in when I drain and then when i do the final cooking. The beans pick up the flavor of the jalapeno's and the heat as well.

That sounds interesting. I just throw a ham bone in mine or else bacon. It isn't too spicy with the jalapeno's?

@cperry2 Oh okay. Yes, I know about cutting out the seeds but I didn't think of the vein that holds the seeds.
A few years ago a friend and I cut up the jalapeno peppers into rings and fit them over the hot dog then grilled the hot dog. It was yummy. We made a bunch of them, and we were outside and didn't think about the food on the stove (the hotdogs waiting to be put on the grill. One of her dogs helped himself to one and I am sure he regretted it afterwards.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Not usually. You can control that by removing the seeds and the vein that holds the sees. That's where the heat is. But mine always seem to come out mild. I use two medium sized peppers to a half pound of beans

Ah it's 8:25 PM here.
Yes, it was really yummy. I don't eat hotdogs very often as I don't like them that much, or they aren't my favorite.
What do you usually eat for breakfast?

I love sweet potatoes. I usually just bake them, but I've had them as fries before as well. Not my favorite way to have them though.

@NJChicaa They lack taste in that form, atleast to me.Though I've gotten them from a restaurant before (the restaurant aptly named "sweet potato") and it was good
