We where on a break (Friends)

There is an episode on Friends that made me think it’s the one with we where on a break! This is when Ross and Rachel break up from dating because of Ross being jealous of another guy and Rachel being busy with work.
Rachel told Ross she need a break from there relationship so pretty much breaking up. 3 hours after breaking up Ross is very drunk and has a one night stand with the Copy Girl. When Rachel finds out after telling Ross there break up was silly she wanted to be with him she breaks up with him again. Ross pleads with Rachel not to be to Rachel, Ross had cheated.
This comes to the point when is too soon to sleep with another person after a breakup?
I don’t think after 3 hours is the way to go and while of course not drunk. Maybe wait a few days

I have a co-worker of mine who breaks up with his long-time girlfriend every time he meets another girl he wants to sleep with. He then sows his wild oats and then immediately goes back to his girlfriend. And sadly, she takes him back every single time.

Oh gosh, you think they just go with being poly or open relationship then braking up and getting back together. I couldn’t live like that.

@moffittjc no vacation yet that’s after next week. I was busy on the 4th and the 5th so I wasn’t online. 4th my husbands grandmother went to the hospital and he was taking care of her so I was taking care of the kids then I had to mentally doctor my husband for the night. Then yesterday was just crazy my van started to act up so gone getting the auto shop to pick it up and then getting a few things for our trip ready. Then napped and stuff. Busy busy busy.

@ShyBear88 Yeah, I would never do that to my girl. To me, it shows a complete lack of respect for the relationship.
Are you back from vacation? It's been a while since I've heard from you, I figured you were taking a break from myLot while traveling.

Oh yes this episode has a lot of truth behind it. Lots of people break up. Some do happen to go off get drunk and maybe sleep with someone or do other crazy things. People do lots of things when there feelings are hurt. People also need time to see outside the box so maybe dating or a meet up talk vs lets share a bed for a night

@Janet357 aids are less common actually. The numbers is very low. Maybe not so much in under developed countries.

Breakup don’t strengthen a relationship a break up is an end of a relationship. But you should still wait let your Brian clean and not go get drunk and have a one night stand with someone. Then hide that you just did that when your ex wants to get back together with you.
