Day 6
Revelation 3:1-6
Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things says he who hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou live, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 He who overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 He who hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.
Do you live a compromised life, trying to please everyone? In trying to please everyone, you please no one, and you compromise your faith in the process.
Jesus told the church at Sardis they compromised their faith and needed to repent and remember what they were taught. He also told them not everyone had compromised their faith. Those who didn’t would not have their names blotted out of the Book of Life, but He would confess them before God and their angels.
One very important fact appears in this letter to Sardis. If you compromise your faith and don’t remain faithful to God, your name will be blotted from the Book of Life. You lose your salvation.
As Christians, you don’t want to lose your salvation. It’s best to remain faithful and repent of your sin and live an uncompromised life before God and the Lord Jesus Christ. When you do, your reward for living a victorious life in Jesus is a white garment because Jesus found you worthy.
All Christians want to be found worthy in Jesus Christ. Stop compromising your faith. Stop allowing the world to decide what you will do and become and let God show you the path you should take for your life. When you do, God will clothe you in white.
Let’s pray: Father, help me live an uncompromised life in You. Help me listen to what You want me to do and not follow the whims of the world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

We shouldn't compromise our faith in God or else our salvation is at stake.
Just curious to know, what do the 7 spirits of God and 7 stars mean?

He's as present as you make Him. For me, He's always present. I hope your day is blessed.
