We are in Michigan, and we are going back to Wisconsin, either today or tomorrow to find the mustard museum.
Yes, there is a mustard museum and store.
Hubby loves mustard.
One trip in the past we went to the SPAM museum in Minnesota.
Now I just need to find a cheese museum and bread museum to make a complete sandwich of tourism.
Another MUST on this trip is to get some pasties. That is like a hand held pie. It is very common in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with all the people who had worked in and around the mines. It originated with the Welsh and Cornish miners in the British Isles. Hubby has made them before.
Recipes online mention both beef and pork, onions, potatoes, and rutabagas.
Maybe I can find a PASTY museum.( say past--ee, with a short "a" sound)
We are having, so far, a quiet and laid back day for the Independence Day holiday.

We ended up not getting any pasties, yet. I do not know if they have a museum for that. You are in Germany where they have lots of good mustard. Do you like it?

@GardenGerty Yes, I like mustards when eating my sausages. We have different kinds of mustard here and I like them all.

I hope you can find the cheese and bread museum. I visited the Fries Museum in Bruges (Belgium), the Gelato Museum in Bologna (Italy) and the Olive Oil Museum in Imperia (Italy). During a summer vacation we also visited the Bread Museum in Seia (Portugal), very interesting. I plan to have a chocolate tour soon here in Switzerland.

It was fun. There were a number of humorous things. We got to taste lots of different kinds of mustard on pretzels. I will likely order him some online, once he uses up the kind he bought.

There was quite a bit of traffic yesterday, as we ended up going on a more urban route. I did not like it near so much.

Aldi's comes up with good imported types of foods. We have a large variety of mustards.

I am not sure if there is really a cheese museum or a bread museum, but there should be. Another thing to visit to learn about breads and stuff is the state Fair.
