My Uncle Turns 90 Years Old Soon

My Dad's brother will be turning 90 years old next week. Always my favorite uncle. He lives in another state. I don't see him but we talk often. I enjoy the talks, as I often feel as if I am talking to my Dad. Went out today to get him a birthday card. Oh my goodness. The heat. It was 98 degrees F and the humidity was crazy. The crowds. People buying beer, coolers, snacks. Getting ready to stay outside and enjoy the summertime perhaps. I could not wait to get back home. Got him a special card and it will go in the mail Monday. I will sure miss him when he is gone. I call him every chance I get. Having a good day everyone?

oh, what a treat to still 've him. those frequent calls mean lots to him's well. i'd rather a root canal with no anesthesia than go to a store here'n the weekend, lol.
