National Ice Cream Sundae Day 1932 - The Dow Jones Industrial Average reaches its lowest level of the Great Depression at 41.22. 1947 - Reports are broadcast that a UFO crash landed in Roswell, New Mexico. 1958 - Kevin Bacon was born. He is an American actor and musician. His more popular movies are: Footloose (1984), JFK (1991), A Few Good Men (1992), Apollo 13 (1995), Sleepers (1996) and Mystic River (2003). He also has done some admirable TV work. He has received a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2003 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
