I remember when I was in primary school when my parents were sending me off to school. They used to tell me to go work hard in my studies. When I joined high school, there was this motivational speaker who came and told us to stop working hard and work smart. It took me sometimes to grasp the difference between the two. Working hard is good but it gets bad when one is putting too much effort in the work, like they do it so hard that they can't even take a break. Working smart is working strategically. You know exactly what you want to achieve and how you want to achieve it. You know when you are bound to get tired and need a break. This is more effective in achieving success than the earlier.
