If your look for a good reason why to eat a cookie today well it’s National Sugar cookie day! It falls every year on July 9th. Originally in 1700’s Pennsylvania, sugar cookie Nazareth cookies by German Protestant settlers and where baked into the shape of keys. That’s their state symbol. Now and days we see them in circle shapes but they are the perfect cookie since you can frost and decorate them easily with little kids.

Cute pic, although sugar cookies have never been my favorite so I will pass. I would however, have a peanut butter cookie or perhaps a chocolate chip.
