Chapter One Ally and Jay were walking home from School trying to figure out what they wanted to do for their Science project when they noticed a huge moving truck parked next door to Ally. The truck had a nice minivan parked on the side of it and a cute girl climbed out holding her book bag wearing a mini dress with diamonds printed all over it. She looked over to them and waived. Ally waived back as she ran over while Jay stayed behind looking in disgust. Ally shook the new girl's hand and even gave her a hug. She told her that she lived right next door and that she went to Woodard High. The new girl told her that her name was Alice and that she would be going to the same school. She hoped to be in some of the same classes. Ally tried to get Jay to come over to say hello, but she wouldn't budge. Ally told Alice that Jay was her best friend and she is a little shy around new people just to be a little nice about the way she was acting. Alice smiled and told Ally that she would see her around. Ally smiled and ran back over to Jay who rolled her eyes and told Ally that she would see her tomorrow because she was going home to see if her mom needed help with the attic. Ally shook her head and went home herself in shock. The day went from good to bad in a matter of second but Ally didn't let it bother her, she took out a new notebook and started writing Alice her first letter adding her to her new group of friends unaware of the tension that she was going to cause in the days to come. Chapter Two The next day at school Jay found out that Alice got her first letter from Ally and she was highly upset. She stomped right up to Ally and gave her the business. " Why the heck is Alice in our group?" " I thought that it would make her happy and belong. Why are you so mad, you should be happy that we have an extra friend because no one likes us anyway." Jay look at Ally with a cold-hearted look and started to turn away, but as soon as she turned around Alice walked up. " Hey, guys what is going on?" Jay knocked Alice books out of her hands and walked away as nothing happened. Alice stood in shock as Ally bent down and apologized for Jay and her behavior. " I am so sorry Alice she is just upset because I added you as a friend to our group. You are not leaving the group. You are staying. I am going to talk to her. She is so used to it just being us. It has been us since we were growing up." " Oh I get it, it was like that with me and one of my childhood friends back home. She was very controlling. I mean it was so bad we couldn't be friends anymore. I hope that you both can still be friends. I hope we all can. I will try my best to give you both as much space as possible." They picked up the books and headed to Lunch where Jay was sitting by a tall tree alone. Ally tried to talk to her, but she was unsuccessful so she sat with Alice instead for the remainder of the Lunch period. She hoped to be able to talk to her over the weekend or at least try and chat with her over the computer.
