It is raining cherries here

The cherry tree is packed with cherries. These cherries are no good when it rains They get soaked in water. They cannot be used for juice or wine We do not eat them as they are very. sour I feel sad to see them go waste. The floor looks like a carpet with cherries strewn on the ground

That's a lot of cherries! Would the seeds at least be any good for future planting? But I know that's still a lot of future cherry trees .

@allknowing How does that all get cleaned up? Or maybe the birds get to it - or do they not care for sour cherries as well .

That is a shame that they are being wasted. Can you use them to make jelly or jam? With the added sugar wouldn't that make them sweeter?
