I can't believe my fingers could braid.

I asked Kay to let me practice a cornrow in her head. My fingers did great tonight to where the front ear to ear is cornrowed. I told her to let me rest up and If she wants more I can do more for her. But she wants another style for the back. Jay loves the braids as well. he said he could see where kay got her braid style from. I taught kay in one hour how to plat with a mannequin at a very young age. can you cornrow?

I can not cornrow, but think that would be interesting to learn. I can do regular braids.

I think that good braids are so nice on some people.

@sharon6345 Thank you...and I would agree. I like to braid mine sometimes after washing and let it sit overnight....and I have curly-sort of hair the next morning.

I thought you weren't seeing her and blocking her calls?

Oh, you reminded me to unblock her. Thank you. I was not seeing her or speaking to her. Jay her husband came to me today to say that kay wants to go to a counselor. since they also were not speaking he asked if she could come talk. I said no at first and in about 3 hours I realized that is would not hurt me to talk to her. They talked and all seems well and he is willing to see her through what she now asked for herself. He told her he wants to talk about meds as well and she did not disagree but also did not agree. But she knows what they will be working on.

I think that cornrow braiding is similar to French braiding, which I know how to do.

Yes but french braid is inside while cornrows are outside on top. I know you don't get it but you could see the difference on someone.

@sharon6345 Yes, I do know the difference. It's the reversal of French braiding, which is an inside braid. The reversal is the outside braid.

I can only do the simple braid. I have had my hair braided many times and I like it. I just can't do my own hair.
