Do you think Dennis is true to his words?

My lost love

Those new here, you might ask who this man is? He was my foreigner bf from Auckland, New Zealand. I toured or visited him 12 times since 2008 up to 2016. It's almost three years that we no longer communicate. In 2016, he bade goodbye to me for he was brought to a nursing home in Christchurch. That time he was sick of cancer in the urethra. That year , my last tour there, I saw him on bed bleeding. I was so afraid. He did not tell me that he is sick of C in his urethra. Though I wondered when I arrived there why he looked so very thin and pale, but never dared to ask the cause of his weight loss. What I did when saw him that way? I got towels, and hot water and hot compressed him below the belt part.It took me 45 minutes to do that. After hot compressing him, I massaged his feet. The bleeding stopped and he felt relieved.I noticed he looked at me meaningfully non stop. The next day, he called me and told me something. he said : " Give me your bank account number. I will give you wealth".. To make the story short , I gave him my bank account number. He said that I can only receive that wealth when he dies. through his only son Benjie. I shared this to my sisters at hoe, the said that money is so hot and never expect his son to send the money to me. On the other hand, the American husband of my best friend said to me that if that was written in Dennis Last Will and Testament, his son cannot just simply deny it. I also believe that Dennis is still alive and is now in a nursing home of which address I do not know. How I wish to go there, but I did not keep his son's address in Christchurch. I truly miss him and feel my heart's broken for not seeing him again. What can you say about my testimony? Thank you guys for sharing me your nice thoughts of my life's journey in Auckland, NZ. Photo here me and Dennis.

If he signed a Will and deposited the Will at a Notary office his son can only do what is written. If he gave the Will to his son, the only thing he has to do is to say that there is no Will and ignore his father Will. I prefer that you know that.

@cacay1 I hope his son is a honest man and he will respect the Will of his father, but I have seen many sons destroy a Will to keep all the money. I wish you luck on this matter.

@LadyDuck that was what my sisters at home told me not to hope for NZ is so far away and I cannot reach him, no exact address.I hope Benjie respects the Will of his dad. I served his dad with all my heart in the hospital in 2010 when he was operated with his skin cancer. Dennis has many deadly sicknesses. He is also sick of PD, unable him sometimes to remember me. One time he looked at me for many minutes thinking who was I after his one hour nap..I was so terrified that time.

It is too easy to make a Will disappear. I hope he has left a copy to a Notary.

I never knew you have this kind of story. I think that you should just be thankful if ever that money would arrive but if it doesn't I really think that you do not bother anymore. Just pray for him and just be happy you have known him and felt his heartfelt love and concern to you.

@cacay1 Oh I never thought my words were that strong that I made you cry. So sorry if I pinch something there. If you can afford to go there I think there's nothing wrong with it but you may find it hard to locate him unless he still stays in the same place when you visited him there. It has been three long years and many must have probably changed in him.

@rsa101 no worries my friend, tears ease my broken heart. Dennis home was in Auckland 3 hours ride for Christchurch. I cannot anymore remember his son's address. I and Dennis been there in Christchurch to introduce me to his son Benjie. It's a flat city surrounded by sea. By the way, the daughters of @sunrisefan, married there in Auckland, he visited there with his wifey twice already. They will have another tour there I think during summer there for it is not cold. December is summer in New Zealand.

I believe Dennis was true to his words when he said that. Not everybody has somebody to willingly take care of them... or in this story, initiating to do things to make him feel better. I believe, him looking at you at those moments, meant he saw your kind heart towards him and appreciated that... If he still is alive, I wish you'd get to see him too.

i reckon ya can do a search 'f facilities there'n christchurch'n make some 'nquiries if'n ya truly wish to check'n his welfare'n possibly visit. most nursin' homes don't 've net access fer their "clients". 's fer the funds? if'n he put such'n a will, then ya should receive whate'er 'mount 'tis dictated. fer myself, i'd not 'ccept such.

@crazyhorseladycx , thanks so much for your moral support in words my friend. How I really want to go to Christchurch and search him there in their nursing homes near where his son lives. My last chance is my student who is hired to work there in Christchurch, NZ it seems a blessing in disguise. My student promised me to find names of the nursing homes there is the prime location in CCH through their telephone directory.

@cacay1 I say do not trust him and you should not have given him your bank account number. You do not know if you were in the will or not and I would change your account number if I were you. When it comes to wills the family can contest the will and then you may not get anything like he said and he may live a long long time. He does not sound like a nice friend to me. That is my opinion.

@Hannihar, thank you Hanni for your frankness. Your idea is also very strong for me to have done that ahead of that action. I am so terrified, oh my God, I hope he won't do wrong against my kind heart and sincerity. You are exactly right, no assurance if I am part of his last will and testament. I may see the bank to share to them some untoward incidents that may occur having my bank account number exposed. I hope it won't happen. That bank account number is where my salary and some savings are stored. It is indeed very important to share a problem here to get others' heads. Only one head to decide and solve may take weeks and months. Thank you so much for this unleashed occurrence to do action for prevention. Thanks so much.

Just be thankful that you were able to be with Dennis in Australia for a lot of times. As to him giving you a wealth, just shrug it off. As you said he once forgot for an hour who you are. But if ever you were included in his will , and Benjie will give what is due you, be happy and grateful. Just don't expect so you will not be disappointed. Can you feel in your heart if he is still alive?

I guess there is no way you could find out where he is. Is there any way you could check on some of the nursing homes in Christchurch to see if you can find him or are there just too many? All I can say is if you really miss him so much perhaps you can do some checking online.

I included his middle initial , Lancelot, still many only of different faces and places in the world. There are almost 28 of them the same first name and family name, so awesome or weird finding.

I’m so sorry about Dennis and his illness. I hope he pulls through. If Dennis wanted you to receive anything, by law, he would have had to draw up his Last Will and Testament and have it witnessed and notarized. If not, his son doesn’t have to give you anything. Sorry to have to tell you this.

@DianneN, that was also what Anna told me that if he really intends to share me his wealth , he would include that statement in his last will and testament and notarized, if not , there is nothing to wait for; unless his son respects the words of his dad which I firmly believed he won't do for money is as hot as a wild fire.Thank you so much Dianne, I am now clarified. One head is not enough to decide for an absurd situation. We really need many heads to end the agony and move on. Thank you my dear for your bright explanation to my agonizing stand.
