Will The Horse be arrested today?

I have the day off today and heading in to see my Dr. for a routine check-up at 2:30 PM. The last time I was there, I noticed that nobody had planted anything in the raised planters on the balcony where the doctors and nurses sometimes have their lunch. Maybe I'll bring some seeds with me with me and do some illegal planting. The weeds were thick last time I was there. Maybe I'll even bring some gloves. Let's see: I have green bean, tomato and corn seeds here...where the heck are my sunflower seeds? Maybe I'll have to stop at Home Depot on my way out there. My doctor's appointment is my only obligation for today, so if you don't hear from me later this afternoon you can assume I'm back in jail.

I kind of like the idea of a stealthy planter!

Share the seeds and sunshine. Nothing wrong with that!

Yeah, it's a good way to "sublimate" my tendency toward juvenile delinquency.

@TheHorse Perfect timing, my new furniture arrives tomorrow and then my exterior will look as good as my interior.

Why not to plant some nice perennial flowers, as this is an area where doctors and nurses have their lunch? There are many perennials that require very little care.

@TheHorse I planted the Mirabilis years ago in my garden. Seeds that I had collected many years ago in the garden of my grandmother. Every year I have to remove more than half of the young plants. They auto seed and they take over the wall garden. I love those flowers.

I have a couple of other planters to work without there. I'll consider that!

Alas, I don't think they will. But the place is on my way to work. Maybe I could stop there to water every day next week.

Well, I have to admit I was waiting for the part where you were going to plant something special. Heck, that could be fun anyway. Just toss in a little Mary Jane seeds in the mix and see if anyone notices. BUT, make sure there are no cameras showing who is doing the planting, OR make sure no one is waiting for whoever planted the special seeds to come back to harvest them.

I'm old enough to remember the days of stems and seeds. But the pot I see these days has no seeds! Maybe pot growers are like Monsanto.

@porwest I wrote a long comment, but it disappeared. I will just bow my head now in contemplation. I will be back.

@TheHorse I wrote a short story drunk once. When I read it the next day I was like, "What the hell was that?"

It's worked in past years. I am getting off to a late start this year. Maybe it's because they've let the weeds overgrow everything.

I think you can avoid jail time if you're circumspect in what you plant.

I've discovered that my azalea shrubs are sorely in need of pruning. Over the last couple of days, I've taken care of the weeds around them. Now I need to find out if it will be best to prune them now or wait until cooler weather (normally I prune right after they bloom but I was up to my eyeballs in Shrek).
