Why do we always misuse the power?

There is hardly any person who does not want to be powerful but nobody uses it properly ,mostly it is misused.Everybody wants to be a boss to overawe the subordinates. Tacitus writes- Lust of power is the most fragrant of all the passions. Colton writes- Power will intoxicate the hearts,as wine the strongest heads .No man is wise enough nor good enough to be trusted with unlimited power. Every unworthy person wants to be a leader today because he wants to show that he never went to school or college but has a power to dismiss even officers or transfer them at any place while they are illiterate. My question is 'Should the leaders be given so much of power? Some leaders are so illiterate that they can neither read nor write but they are taking important decisions about a country's education. Is it not a surprising thing that even in a poorest country how is it possible that all the leaders are rich? Have you ever thought about it?

Good point. With the power only you can do the wrong things very easily. No one can stop you. But I think they will going to pay for it one day. Otherwise their family may suffer. If the power can be used truly for some good purpose, then our world will becomevery beautiful in the coming days.

@sunilmishra7756 Almost everybody should have thought about it but the educated class is not willing to join politics. But even if book smart folks join politics then they may not be so rigid or strong against the criticisms people in parliament would have to encounter from the opposition. It can be realized that standing strong against bunch of cynics and having a dare to establish something righteous may not always need education rather it needs courage as well .
