Captivated by Baby Rabbit

Snapped this photo in my screen room yesterday. Brendel and the Dude sat watching without moving for about ten minutes. I slowly went out with my phone camera and saw the tiny baby rabbit in the yard. The rabbit was not moving. The cats were not moving. It was like a standoff. I snapped a few photos without them moving.
Glad my cats are indoor cats. This little rabbit would not have survived. He hides in my shrubs in the backyard. Eats the clover and then runs for cover. I have not seen any adult rabbits lately, so he must be on his own. Seems fine.
Seen any wildlife around you lately? I know some of you have shared photos lately. Plans for this day?

oh, what a cutie! used to've lil bunnies all o'er here 'til the feral cats moved 'n. yup, good thingy yer cats're 'ndoors 'r they'd make short work 'f that lil darlin'.
jest my lil squirrel. seems he's either gettin' more 'dventerous 'r i'm seein' more 've where all he'd be goin' durin' daylight hours. brave lil soul with all these cats!
i'd plans, mr. whisky gave me other thingies to do 'n now 'tis not safe to be outdoors fer long 's we've 'lready hit 100 'n 'tis jest 12:30.

@CarolDM mr. squirrel'n the resident cat'd a stare down earlier, lol. him layin' perfectly still 'cross a branch'n her 'n the sunroom window. i know she'd love a go't him.
doin' my best 'gainst the heat. gotta keep goin' out 'n checkin' 'n mr. whiskey....i'm hopin' the hubs'll 'gree 'n we get 'im gelded this year coz that'd put a stop to the nonsense.
i hope the rains come gentle, ms. carol.

@crazyhorseladycx Oh I bet that was fun to watch. Mt. Whiskey is your horse right? The thunder is still coming but the rain is not too and right now.

I live in a city so I don´t see any wild life. I love rabbits. I´m glad your cats stayed indoors.

We have a few bunnies that play in the pasture in the evenings. They like the horses mineral block.

Occasionally a rabbit will hop through the yard but I haven't seen one in awhile. Mostly we have deer that come out at dusk

I highly doubt that bunny is on its own, probably wanders by itself from time to time... I'mma need to do more research, because this bunny looks a bit young to be out on its own...

Great shot. We see the woodchuck every once and a while and chipmunks. No special plans for today. Have a great one!!!
