My Kidneys Hate Me

My health seemed to just never get back to 100% after surgery - I was getting better but it was slow. A little over a week ago I was running a fever at work but didn’t think much of it really. Two days later, I had a kidney stone do it’s damnest to murder me. Friday I was in the back of an ambulance with my heart rate out of control due to dehydration, pain, and my kidneys not filtering toxins from my body. Hours later while actually admitted to the hospital my blood pressure crashes because of all the morphine being pumped in to be to handle the pain.
I went home Sunday - my primary doctor is a bit mad they discharged me - but the criteria for discharge is “probably won’t die in the next 12 hours”. I’m slowly improving at home but still very weak.

Did you at least pass the stone? I don't ever get a fever with my stones, severe back pain , vomiting, and pain so bad. I usually have to go to ER for those, quite painful

Are they doing anything to treat the kidney stones, like blasting them apart with lasers?

Glad that you get a bit better now.I can tell that It must have been a sharp pain ,though I didn't suffer from kidney stone.Running a fever was a sign of it.

The criteria for discharge is so morbid. I hope you feel well soon.
