Captured a silver spotted skipper butterfly in Dustin's garden this morning. I see more butterflies the hotter it gets. They are enjoying the two butterfly bushes in the garden. My favorite part of July and August is seeing the butterflies. The hummingbirds also visit as well. They are very entertaining. You can see a little more of the garden in the background if you look close. An angel and a bench. @LindaOHio asked to see more from the garden. Here is one photo for you. I will take more later. Enjoying your Friday everyone? Plans for the weekend?

Thank you! I get out in the heat for a few minutes and take photos, there are so many right now. They love the heat. We have had the opposite as you know. Take care!

Thanks. Skippers are very common. But they are usually plain brown. And a lighter shade. I like this dark brown one and the silver spot catches your eye. I am considering a book, many have suggested. Thanks again.

Dustin's garden is so beautiful and I'm sure very peaceful, too. My plans are to be discharged from this hospital in Charleston and spend the night at our daughter's. Then home tomorrow, Lord willing.

Thank you. Yes it is very peaceful to sit in the garden. I have more photos to share as well. I love being out there. I go out early and then late with his crazy weather. I hope you go home today.
