"Can a MAN be GIRLISH?"

Before I ended up my day, I wanted to share something about the word 'girlish.' I had this online student who keeps on asking about it. It is her new word and I had explained to her as clearly as possible. Boom! She asked, 'Can a man be girlish?' I paused for a minute and confidently said, 'Yes, man can be girlish.' Don't get me wrong with this matter. I don't have low opinions about men who are girlish. I just need to be cautious in my own words with my Chinese student. One thing for sure, her country is not open to such gender orientation such as gay, lesbian, etc. 'What do you think about this matter?' 'Is gender equality is being practiced in your place?" It is not necessary that a man is gay to be "girlish", in our days I see more and more men who go to beauty saloons and take care of their body, just like women.

I believe everyone has the chromosomes of a boy and a girl. Whatever is the dominant that shows up in their behavior. I am a man but sometimes I display girlish actuation.

I do think that there is no need to judge men who do girlish act. As a matter of fact, men have their mother's traits.

we have no problems here.Can a man be girlish not sure what this mean. Lot of men have feminine side and not gay.Look around and with men.How they act.

I do agree with you. Men still have a low level of estrogen hormone. They can be acting like a woman in some ways.

No problem here with that. I think there is a woman in every man. I have seen many girlish men in Pinas. Sometimes it gives me goosebumps seeing them how they react in the public.

I have known some friends who are like that, they are straight men but very girlish when it comes to themselves like how they bath something to do with necessity.

Yes. I kind of accept this. If there are women with strong mind and heart, we can have men with tender heart too.. I don't know if that term girlish would mean what I'm saying. But, the proportion matters.

'Girlish' is best described as acting like a girl's behaviour. It doesn't mean that men are gay. In terms of being gay, I think it is accepted in your place right now.

I think it is, my friend. However, some countries are not ready to accept them. I have been to a Muslim country and the people care not open to this matter.

I don't have a low opinion about it. I think some couples who are gays or lesbians do the same thing here now. But I think it is not legal.
