Someone just posted that a woman is too emotional to be President

As a woman I am highly offended. The sad thing is that a WOMAN is the person that wrote this. If you want to see someone who is a big baby and "too emotional", check out Trump's Twitter feed. It is nothing but name-calling directed at people who dare to criticize him and kissing up to Fox News anchors who praise and flatter him. HE is the one who is too emotional (among other things) to be President.

I commented on the post at once. It's absolutely ridiculous and, yes, it's also offensive.

Trump's emotional development seems to be stuck at the 1 month old level. All he cares about is himself (and he can get very emotional when his ego is challenged). Even a two year old can spontaneously tell his mother that he loves her. Trump would be completely incapable of that, let alone having any real emotion about anything except his own sweet self. Of course, as a woman, you should strongly disagree with a charge that 'women are too emotional to be leaders' because it patently isn't true. Too many fine women have demonstrated that the charge is false! Isn't 'being offended' an emotional response, however?

@NJChicaa Nor would I have done with Margaret Thatcher (even though I happen to have disagreed strongly with her policies, I think that she was a good leader).

I just read that. I love it when someone is writing about their own intelligence. I would never demean myself like that.

Throwing temper tantrums is being too emotional, so Trump must be considered a woman! This angers me too, because most of those men are air heads, when it comes to balancing the budget and running our government properly!

Margaret Thatcher and several other women around the world successfully led their countries. What a ridiculous thing to say...Sadly, it isn't just men who can be sexist.

I'm glad they keep saying things like that. Women, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, etc are inferior, poor people working three jobs are only poor because they're lazy, Global Warming is a hoax and on and on and on. Why do those kinds of statements make me happy? Because Ted Cruz, in one of the safest Republican seats won by 3 whole points in the last election. And then he begged AOC to work with him on an issue that he had only talked about before. And it was because of them saying things like women are too emotional to be President. And look what happened in Congress. We got AOC the rest of The Squad because of that. So, I want them to keep talking and I want Trump to keep Tweeting everything that pops into his tiny little mind. The more they talk, the stupider they get, the more they lose and the more we gain.
