When you're hot you're hot

Here in the eastern US, and by eastern I mean everywhere east of the Rockies, the news seems to be all about the heatwave.
This got me to thinking about songs about heat. The first that came to mind was the song, "When you're hot you're hot" by Jerry Reed. This song isn't about the weather, but it is a fun song to listen to.
"Tropical Heatwave," was the next one I thought of. Many artists have recorded this song. In my humble opinion, no one did it better than Ella Fitzgerald.
Then there was Linda Ronstadt's "Heat Wave," a song that raised a lot of temperatures among the men of my generation back in the day.
I'm sure some of our members who are more widely versed in music can add many more to this list, but I'll stop after adding one more. An irreverent tune from Van Halen.

It's summer and there are always heat waves in summer. "Hot fun in the summertime" says Sly and the Family Stone.

James Spann was talking about that the other night on the ABC 33/40 pre-newscast Facebook video. He was making fun of the media proclaiming it a “heat emergency!” That’s exactly what he said: “it’s summer, it’s supposed to be hot.”
I think the thing that’s making them freak out is how much of the map is covered by heat advisories/heat warnings.

@FourWalls It is supposed to be hot in the summer, but NOAA did publish - I'm sure over the objections of POTUS - that this past June was the hottest June on record since they started keeping records in 1880.

I think, as a service to the zombies, we should use barbecue sauce instead of suntan lotion during the heat wave. That way, we’ll taste better for them when they attack.
