I couldn't handle it

It is 98 degrees F here at the moment with a RealFeel of 110. I decided to go to the pool for a couple of hours just to help pass the time today.
I got there at 11:15 am and I was outta there by 12:45 pm. I simply couldn't handle the heat. I was in the pool with a book and a bottle of water and the sweat was just pouring from my face, my body, etc. It was brutal.
I usually try to stay for at least 2 hours (some random rule I made up) but it just wasn't possible today. An hour and a half was the best I could do.
Have you been outside today?

I tried to stay in the sun for an hour before and got burnt to a crisp! Today it's cooler here, around 81 degrees at this time 2:00P. There's no sun, we have heavy cloud covering today.

@NJChicaa Yesterday it got up to about 85, which did warm out house up. Jay turned the AC on last night, to cool it down in here.

very briefly, I have no intenion of going out for any length of time until evening. Some days were just meant to be in inside.

Too bad you didn't have an umbrella to get under. My parents pool has several large umbrellas attached to the sides.

Yes but so far just for a minute or two as I got in and out of the car, it is ugly.
