A few days ago I said I would be putting up some post about celebrities who served in the military I put up a hint on the two I would cover next. The movie bad azz and the guitar god. Did you know who I was talking about?
Chuck Norris: The movie bad azz and all around tough guy.
Mr. Norris joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958 as a police airman, he served in South Korea where he first learned martial arts. He also served at March Air Force Base in Riverside County, CA until he was discharged in 1962. His first on screen debut came in 1968 in the movie "The Wrecking Crew.
Mr. Norris founded his own school of fighting named Chun Kuk Do. Norris is a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu and Judo.
James Marshall Hendrix: The guitar god, known as Jimi Hendrix.
Although I include him in this I don't really feel he deserves to receive the recognition others do. Jimi joined the Army due to the courts giving him the choice to join or go to jail. He joined in May of 1961 he was assigned to the 101st Airborne but after many issues he was discharged with other than honorable conditions. Although many times he tried to claim it was a medical discharge. None the less he did serve one year and one month, being discharge in June of 1962.
The next Did You Know will feature two Kings. What? Two Kings?

I knew Chuck Norris served but not the years of service. Also, that Hendrix had issues and was put out of the Army but not the nature of the issues. As you stated he claimed, I always thought they were medical.
As far as the two kings, I imagine one is Elvis. Would BB King be the other?
