A Dramatic Sweet Pea

I'm so impressed with this sweet pea plant. The flowers are amazing as they are partially maroon red and partially a beautiful mauve. They stand out so well alongside the delicate white rose at the bottom left of the photo and the huge almost fluffy looking head of the hydrangea. I love the paler sweet peas but the deeper colours are breath taking.

They're quite easy to grow but they are rather thirsty!

That's a gorgeous colour. I can imagine it looks lovely in amongst the roses.
