Slow Cooker Chicken

Decided to cook dinner in the slow cooker today. The temperatures have gotten out of the 90s F and more tolerable to be in the kitchen.
Cooking chicken thighs with cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup and Lipton's onion soup mix. It is a favorite combination. And will be cooking all day.
I can share photos of the meal when it is done if anyone is interested.
Plans for today anyone? Dinner plans on your menu yet?

Funnily enough I used the slow cooker to cook a beef casserole for dinner on Saturday. I did not want to spend ages in the kitchen cooking. It is interesting to read you add soup to the pot. We normally start from scratch with raw ingredients and add our own spices and herbs to it. I would love to see a photo of how it looks when it is finished! Enjoy it!

That sounds delicious. No, I ask when time because Tony does not want to eat most of the time so whatever he wants I make.

Sounds like an interesting combo! I might use the tomato soup myself....but not sure about the others! I had pork tenderloin myself.

@MommyOfEli2013 You are busier than I am. I seem to have more time on my hands.

@CarolDM that's good to hear! I just never think of those things when making stuff in the crockpot!

No plans for today. I got my meal plan for next week, though: the colonoscopy specials (banana popsicles and chicken broth).

@CarolDM — I have a dental appointment before starting the prep, too. Really piling on the misery for next Monday, aren’t I?

@CarolDM I bet it does smell awesome. One thing I love about cooking in the crock pot is when you get home the whole house just smells like a tasty treat. And I can't recall ever screwing anything up in the crock pot, so whatever I make in one is always very good.

That sounds really good. I made macaroni, meat sauce, and feta cheese in a casserole and baked it and I am eating a little bit all day whenever I feel hungry.

I made chicken in the crockpot tonight too. Mine had Sweet Baby Rays honey & brown sugar bbq sauce.
I like your combo of cream of mushroom soup, tomato and onion soup mix. I might have to steal your recipe next time I make chicken

Today I will dedicate a little time to dinner, baked chicken with a special sauce, nothing better than taking advantage of these cloudy and cold days to eat something hot.
