Someone stole another kitten

I am sad because someone stole another kitten. I wanted to keep him. There are so many cats without owners who aren't helped. And people steal the kittens who have mothers and are well fed. I can't understand this.
The kitten from the picture was stolen tonight. I would want to know if he was abandoned somewhere. I added a Facebook post. Maybe I will receive some news about him. He had blue eyes, but is this a reason for people to steal him? All kittens with blue eyes disappear one by one. I don't know how to avoid this.
Do you know any ways to avoid this? I can't keep them in the yard. I searched for him everywhere.

Hard to believe a kitten is stolen. Perhaps wandered off and taken by another animal?

@dya80dya Yes, I use to have a job where I cooked at night, and there was a kitten I went to work one night, and she was honr. O felt bad a long time.

So sorry to hear about it. I hope you find your little furry pal soon. I don't know why people pilfer ...my apt. home was burglarized too this month and my Mother's antique Kodak Stereo camera and can you believe it, a bag of Chuka Soba! Well, my landlord put a deadbolt on my front door and a latch on my backdoor. I feel so much better now...but who knows why bad ones do what they do. Saint Gertrude, is the patron saint for Cats,...Saint Gertrude please watch over my pals cat who was stolen and see them safely back home please, thank you Saint Gertrude, in the name of Christ.

I hope if the kitten was stolen it was given to a child who truly needed a friend. I hope hope the kitten will be treated well and become a part of that family.
I am sorry for your loss and still hopeful the kitten has a good life ahead.
