Grasshopper in Cosmos

During my afternoon walk today I came across this grasshopper doing an important civil service to us all, pollination. He is so cute. I’m glad I brought my macro lens along.
I love grasshopers. When I was a kid I used to catch them with my curve palms. And let them go and catch them again. Do you like grasshoppers?

Ahahah it takes practice. They usually jump in a straight line. So you create a disturbance in the grass and they will jump in from of you heading the opposite direction of your foot step.

I used to do the same thing when I was a kid. I vividly remember my brother and I chasing and catching grasshoppers in our yard. We too would let them go after we caught them.

Yes, we eat them. They're rich in protein. I am not referring to ordinary grasshoppers but those that are edible.
