I wanted to post about this little cell phone mishap the other day and with everything going on here forgot. I was reminded about this earlier this morning by @moffittjc so here is the post
Last week while cleaning out the POD I had my cell phone in my pocket. I pulled it out and looked at it before we left my mom's house. I noticed that my phone had called a friend of mine that I used to work with. We are both retired now. She sent me a text to call her at another number. I sent a test and said, "Sorry, my phone was in my pocket and dialed you by mistake."
I got a text back from her that said, "Well, that explains why I could not understand you." We proceeded to load up my car and left.
We were running late and my husband was going to reach our home first. We had planned on cooking some fish for dinner and needed bread crumbs. He had told me the day before he didn't see any in the pantry. I told him I thought there were some. So I sent a text asking him to check again.
Later I looked at my phone and saw that I sent the text to my friend and not my hubby. She replied, "What?" I just had to laugh at all the mishaps with her today and my cell phone. I sent her another text and just said, "You mean you don't know if I have any bread crumbs in the pantry? lol I guess it is your lucky day of hearing from me multiple times. Sorry but I hope you at least got a laugh out of it all. I did."
So that's my story of the cell phone mishap. I don't often mistakenly dial people. My hubby on the other hand does. Do you do this by accident by having your phone in your pocket or purse?

It did happen. But I think there's a safe feature that you may avoid accident call or text if it is disabled.

I automatically dial my hubby if I hold the phone wrong. Somehow he has his own icon on my screen. My daughter-in-law often dials me.

I have an old flip phone; so that doesn't happen. I'm surprised she didn't say, "Let's meet up" after all that.
