I took my "non drowsy" allergy medicine this morning, and a couple of hours ago I started feeling like a zombie. A couple of times during the kids' lunch I closed my eyes and I heard a chorus of: "Miss Stacey! You can't go to sleep !" I sure felt like it, though. My co-worker insisted I go home, and my boss said I should, too, so I ate the rest of my lunch and clocked out, then headed for the bus stop. I sat there in the heat for 15-20 minutes, then said "The heck with it" and went back to the center to call a Lyft. I'll be taking another one to my doctor appointment later this afternoon. I hate to, as it's more expensive than the bus, but the sinus meds are wearing off, and my raging sinus headache is coming back, so I don't feel like walking around in the heat. For now I'm home, and I will take it easy until I have to leave. I may not walk Angel until I get home from my appointment--hopefully it will be cooler then.
