I’m trying out digit. It’s an app that is suppose to help you save as well as help keep you from having overdrafts in your account. I’ve only had it for about a week. It had $7 build up for me but because of my husband not paying attention during the trip about what was going out I got overdrafts so the $6 went to that to help lower it.
I’m sure it’ll save me lots of money when we are not spending it on things we don’t need. I do have money saved in my PayPal but I use it that in case we need something like food in an emergency. Like this week. I’m going to use it today or tomorrow to get more milk for the kids.
Have any of you tried digits yet! I got free $5 since a friend referred me and I know she got $5 as well for it.
It’s a free app and you can put in as little as $1 or nothing at all. I didn’t put anything in till pay day before we left on vacation. It was just a $1 but as they say a $1 does go along way.

You don’t have to. But it does take small amounts out when you do have money. You can add as little as you want. There is also feature where I can turn it off or on as I like. Right now if my account drops below zero it doesn’t take anything. It also stops at $50 between $0-$50 it doesn’t touch my account. It’ll noted that it’s below the $50 amount but once it hits zero it’ll take whatever funds has been saved on the app back into my bank account. I can also places a 90 hold or longer like if your going on a trip or something.

@mrki444 the account it’s set to is secondary account. It’s where my babysitting money goes to. Our big account gets my husbands paycheck that one we don’t touch as much but if it’s easy to access it’s easier to spend. I don’t go through my savings apps much so it’s easier for me to save that way then through the bank unless I lock in a cd.
