Not bad at all yesterday

I got out yesterday for the first time since hospital visit during our move months ago. Had to go to gastro/ stomach doctor . Poor daughter had to take time off work and come home and maneuver me around in this cheapo wheelchair we got like in the photo. I have to have help getting up and down and walking very far so she really had a rough day since she worked earlier. But I digress. We met with a very nice doctor that has set me up for more tests since so much cancer in my family. The good part about the day is I found out I am getting back to being able to do more then I thought I could and got a real workout. We got home exhausted. But for me I was happy to see I lived over it and felt better oh and found out I only weigh 100 pounds now probably because I can't eat like I used to.Even though I still love it and wish I could. Back when I was able to work, I weighed 156 and didn't like it. Mostly because of comments made by my last client. She would say things like it's too early for lunch and you look like you could skip a few meals anyway. because she caught me grabbing a snack from missing breakfast and I was waiting for the dryer to stop so I could fold her clothes and change her bed. another time she said you could loose all that weight if you used the push diet. I said what's that and she said push away from the table ! So anyway,so glad things are looking up. and hope I haven't jinxed my luck again by posting this as last time I posted something good, it immediately started storming and power went off 3 times. The noise from thunder was deafening and could not sleep most of the night. that's my looking up post hope things are looking up for you too.

Now that you mentioned your dad, made me think of my mom how she used to put me down for gaining weight even when I was only 11 yrs. old. She was slender and beauty was the most important thing to her. Maybe she didn't realize fussing at me only made it worse. Thank you dear friend

Unless you're as short as I am, 156 is not a bad weight. 100 seems very light. Even for me as short as I am. So I hope you also have an appetite in that great report. I'm glad you're back home and sorry your daughter had to take off work, but glad she did and was a good trooper about helping you. I'm glad you can do more than you could before. That's awesome. I hope the wheelchair is temporary since you're able to do more than you have. Awesome report! It's good to know you're getting out of the house.

I am 5 ft. having lost some height over the yrs too like maybe 2 inches. It's worrisome to think it may also be the muscle and bone loss too. Thank you sweetie. I still will likely always walk with the walker since I fell because they told me I was unstable and needed to use it and I had not been the day I just fell.

@bunnybon7 I'm sorry you lost height too. I've lost 4 inches. You're actually taller than me by 2 inches. You do what you gotta do. It's good you have stability with the walker.

I am glad things were looking up on that day. I hope they still are. What a miserable woman to say those things to you.

Glad you were able to get out for a while and that your daughter was able to go with you. Sorry about the mean comments made by you client. Some people are so rude.
