Have you ever argued with your gps?

I was heading somewhere yesterday from a place I don't normally drive from. But when I got close to where i had been before, the GPS wanted me to turn on a road that I knew took longer.
So I rerouted to my internal GPS
(rerouting, rerouting)
have you ever done that? Rerouted to your internal GPS?

@DocAndersen Sort of. She won once by convincing me to go to the wrong hotel. It turns out that since her last update a Jamison Inn had become a Quality Inn and there was another Jamison Inn that was once something else. We were supposed to be at the second one.

Yes, we've done that when we knew a better way. I hate to drive in big cities, but one time I was getting stressed and when the GPS said, "Turn south", I yelled, "If I knew where south was, I wouldn't need you!" Then there have been times when yes, technically the GPS was taking us the shortest way, but it took us through some rather scary neighborhoods instead of the freeway just around the corner.

That is awesome - I suspect most of us have been in that boat!

I do not have gps, thank God! I don`t need someone else in the car telling me what to do.

Our GPS is still in the box after 2 years; so it doesn't say much.
