How’s everyone doing this Saturday? I am about to get ready for work, which I will likely be doing a lovely 12 hour day, but that is quite alright since I am preparing to book hotels and such for my September trip.
I had been getting emails from eBates for a while stating that they were going to change their name to Rakuten, and it looks like this finally took place. I am kind of wondering if they changed ownership or why the change took place and what that will mean for us folks who use it.
I have probably made about $75 from eBates in the last year, mostly as cash back for travel purchases using one of their partner websites (IE if you book a flight through their link to Travelocity, you get like 4% cash back into your eBates account). I don’t do a ton of other online shopping, but it’s nice to have this option.
EBates/Rakuten users- have you noticed any changes there?

Yes, I read the name change. I have about $100 coming back soon! I love eBates/Rakuten!

I signed up for Rakuten, but I still have the big E lit up on my page. Ebates isn't great about crediting all purchases that should be eligible in my opinion.

I opened an account w/them, but have never actually used it.
Now I'm not sure if I should.
