My husband Grandma J is slowly doing better. Still lots of ups and downs and stuff up mostly up which is good. She has no breathing tubes any more still requires at time a mask for oxygen. They did a swallow test where she isn’t so ready for puréed just yet but getting there. Doing so cause some fluid to get into her lungs so they are giving her a little bit more time. She has a feeding tube which does bother her and will try to get it out at night time. Still confused on things. She knows her name which is a good thing and certain people she does know. She wished my husbands aunt a happy birthday. Still she isn’t allowed to see kids but us adults can go in and visit it and help out.

Did they ever figure out what was wrong? I'm glad she is slowly getting better!

She had a rear virus that they treated her for. Her mental recovery is at 35% because they used the better antiviral meds. She still has fevers just the hard part of it is over.

@ShyBear88 Thanks for the explanation. No matter what, it's good that she's slowly on the mend.

At least, she's slowly getting better. Better is better than nothing.
