Fried fish for lunch.

Leticia is frying fish in the kitchen in a way that only she knows. We will have fried fish with homemade mashed potatoes. I only tried once the dry flour that most people turn into mashed potatoes. I did not like it and I prefer the slower method of peeling, paring and boiling the potatoes and then mash them while adding butter and milk.
This dish is not a good one for our diet so we have it only once in a while. Most of the time I either steam or bake fish.

@CarolDM oh.. I thought grilled one has crust too. My distant relative steamed fish fillets then separated the thorn ..added salt and other condiment and then used bread crumb powder for deep frying... I remember because I was in the kitchen that day.. helping with some salad chopping. I do not eat fish. Is that how you all fry fish? Or directly the fillet goes into oil?

I like my fish fried, I too like potatoes the old way also we are having taco soup.
