What's with the absolutely insane drivers?

We've been on the highways right much lately and I think just about every trip has included three or more brushes with death. Or at least bodily injury and a damaged vehicle.
People have lost any sense they ever had while they're driving. I'm sure some of it is because they're texting or talking on their cell phones.
But, I tell you, it almost makes me want to never leave home.
Almost.

The whole people being on their phones while driving thing drives me NUTS. If people knew how much they were swerving doing this I think they MIGHT reconsider. MIGHT. Many of these people just have no brains. Look fella, you are not in a self driving car YET.

Heaven help us if we ever do get so-called self driving cars.

I find people to be very aggressive drivers today. They will smash right into the back of your car if you don't run an amber to red light. Seems everyone is in a rush to get somewhere fast today!

Yes right very true in these days people don't think about their life or to safety to others life. They just want to drive the their vehicle they doesn't think about how to save for how to provide safety to others.

Distracted driving is a big part of it. Another problem is that here in the US it is too easy to get a driver's license. People I wouldn't trust on a little red tricycle are driving around in cars and trucks weighing thousands of pounds when they have no business being entrusted to do so.

That's so true. I'd take 1/4 for the drivers' licenses away if it were up to me.

I don't like to be on the roads anymore either. Now that we're older and my husband isn't as sharp as he used to be, I cringe when he drives. I don't blame you for wanting to stay home.

It really takes both of us to watch out for other drivers. We had three close calls in one day! And it wasn't our fault.

We have anti-distracted law that prohibits any driver to use his cellphone while driving. If he will be caught, the driver will be fined or suspension of his license or revocation of license.
